Arrival

The flight was around 2hrs 20 minutes. What can you do in the plane other than sleep, talk, eat or drink? Let KS shows you what!

Arrived at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport and we waited for all the passengers to get off the plane. Then we approached Fanelle and took this picture. It was so tempting to do the "10%!!"!!! Lol

And we helped Winston and Xiaoli to take some pictures of them jumping. But I guess I didn't do a good job... Sorry guys..

We meet Simon and Gin who were from the Sabah Tourism Board and they ferried us to the hotel, Imperial International Hotel. The manager (I think) welcomed us and we were given our room key and even breakfast vouchers!!!! Simon also arranged to pick us up at 7pm to go for seafood dinner... Yum Yum... you guys rock!!

Without any hesitation, we headed straight to our room at the 9th floor. I expected myself to go "Wah Wah Wah..." and when we went in, I really "Wah Wah Wah..." The first thing that came to my mind was that the room felt very comfortable. The colour, the setting and the lounge sofa chair!!

Yup, that's the lounge sofa chair!! The bright red one. It is just next to the window and woo hoo ~ ~ ~ the blue blue sea is just right in front of us.

The next thing to "wah" about was the toilet. It is separated from the beds by a glass panel. Of course, there is a bind which can be pulled down for privacy, Lol!

As much as I wanted to stay and enjoy the room, we felt that we should go makan. We crossed the road to Centrepoint. We were really hungry and hence, the shopping mall opposite our hotel looks really inviting.

At Basement 1, that's where one can find food and more food. We ordered the chicken rice and a bowl of soup. One poster caught my eye and I immediately ordered the product featured. It is call Teh-C Special!! At the bottom, there is layer of coconut syrup or something... when mixed together with the milk and tea, it is simply Sedap!!!

Not that the chicken rice weren't enough but we just wanted to eat more. So we went into KFC and ordered the Cheezy Wedges... The cheese... so thick... the wedges... so yummy...

Then we headed out to the street and jalan jalan. The town is not big and it is really easy to get around by foot. Otherwise, one can get around by bus and it will costs RM$1 - 1.50.
